Njs4ever Networks has established strong ties with the musicians, artists and producers who played a role in the creation of New Jack Swing, as well as up-and-coming and contemporary music producers who actively pay homage to, and incorporate the style into their music today.

As a result of the aforementioned relationships, many of these individuals have expressed strong interest in working with, and signing to an independant label created by Njs4ever Networks, which will be called Obsidian Records, named after the somewhat common, naturally occuring ebony-colored glass rock that is not very well known yet incredibly useful (i.e. as a cutting tool) and is also considered a gemstone.

Obsidian is slated to launch in 2009, after NJS4E Music has established itself as a success.
